About this series, the Major says, "We will talk about the Lord Jesus Himself, because Christ is the only one capable of living the Christian life, for the very obvious and simple reason - He is the Christian life! We must focus therefore on Him, if we are to discover how He, our Creator-Redeemer intended us to live in terms of our relationship to Him, learning how He (as Man) lived nearly 2,000 years ago in terms of His relationship to the Father.
We will discover in fuller depth what it means not just to become a Christian, but to BE one. The greatest need throughout the Church worldwide, in every denomination, missionary enterprise and group, is to rediscover the Lord Jesus Christ and the indispensability of His indwelling presence within the believer: the risen living Lord whose life He shares with us on earth on the way to heaven!
The messages are consecutive in character. Each session builds upon the preceding sessions, precept upon precept, giving a full panoramic view of God's saving purpose for you and for me. Christians are those whom Christ has redeemed and sealed by the gift to them of His Holy Spirit, through Whom we become members of His new corporate Body on earth, the true Church, so that He may accomplish through us what He began to do in His own body so many years ago. What a fantastic privilege!
