As I look back over the year of 2008, there are many things for which I thank God and praise His name. First of all, I thank God for enabling me to come out of the hospital alive after 80 days of medical treatment and rehabilitation. It is great to be back in His ministry. I was very much encouraged by the prayers of many people--the prayers that were visible in letters, cards, faxes, telephone calls, flowers, e-mails and visitors. And we were also encouraged by the fact that He knows our situation and cares about it.

The biggest challenge we now face is our small Bible School. The main difficulty is that we do not have a principal. I would like a Bible School of a maximum of 12 students but for that we need to have a good Bible teacher with a vision for building a good school.

Our top prayer request is for the next director. We have been praying for last four years. We have contacted three couples but they were not God’s appointed ones. Last year the Lord showed us a Canadian couple, Steve and Jennifer. We believe that they are the ones but Steve and Jennifer are waiting God’s affirmation.

Please pray for this couple so that we may be able to give a joyful report at the staff conference in June.
