Credo - facility for Torchbearers SwitzerlandCredo - facility for Torchbearers SwitzerlandIts all smiles in the Swiss Alps!
We have been encouraged by God in the way He has prepared things ahead of us. At the end of 2007, we left Klostermühle Germany behind us and were allowed to take over a new ministry in Switzerland called Credo. Credo is a ministry that runs camps for children and teens during vacation times and at present reaches about 500 children yearly, mostly from Switzerland and France. For the rest of the time, the house is occupied by churches, seminar attendees or others who come to use our facilities.

In October 2008, Ueli und Ruth Zürrer and the Torchbearers Switzerland Board stepped down and were happy to pass the responsibility on to us. Since then, God has provided 11 new younger people who joined with me in the new adventure of Torchbearers Switzerland. Together we are excited and currently in the process of determining what the Lord has in mind for us.

I feel blessed that Simon Schmuki and his wife came back to Switzerland to join the work at Credo after having worked for one year at Tauernhof Austria. Simon and I are dreaming of a Torchbearers Bible School in Switzerland. We are planning a reunion with former Swiss Torchbearers Bible School students in August 2009 and perhaps even a Sylvester Party.

Please pray that many may come and we may determine even more ways to be a blessing to the Swiss people. Please also pray that the Allianz with Credo may be a blessing for both ministries. I am very thankful to be able to work in the Credo ministry and for the openness of their Board towards the Torchbearers work.
