We have been encouraged this year by the works of the Lord Jesus Christ and how He established the Board and moved the hearts of the Board members to take great action regarding renovation of the buildings at Pondok Kepenrey. The renovation was done and we hope that more and more people will come to Pondok Kepenrey.

Living by faith means doing what we can and doing our best and what we cannot do will be done by our Lord. We are so grateful for the way in which He has blessed our works and provided the funds even from unexpected people, such as from a couple living in Florida.

The Lord’s vision in Matthew 9:36 reads: “But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they fainted, and were scattered abroad, as sheep having no shepherd.” This is also the vision of Torchbearers Indonesia. We are challenged to see the number of Indonesians putting their faith in Jesus Christ.

Please pray for wisdom to see opportunities in all the difficulties we face day by day. We live like sheep among wolves, but we thank God for He has guaranteed that He will never leave us nor forsake us. We feel secure in spite of the insecurities surrounding us. Praise the Lord.
