One illustration of God's blessing was the transformation in the lives of some of the students attending the Discipleship Bible studies, Values classes and VEST (Values Enrichment Specialized Training). This also included some of the teachers who had been counseled by us.
We have been challenged by students who are coming to us in school to have Bible studies with them. Other unexpected ministry opportunities included the Values Supervisor in Caloocan promoting our ministry to the Principals and Values heads in her area of responsibility and the request of school leaders to assist their teachers in the Values classes.
Our staff also had the opportunity to go to Malaysia to share God's Word and the Philippines religious practices, culture and values with the Interns who made themselves available to assist us in our ministry to the youth in the Philippines, India and Asia Torchbearers centers through the Asia Practicum Program.
Please pray for us concerning staff health and strength, finances and families and church prayer support and encouragement. We need additional staff and volunteers who have a passion for God and compassion for the young people.
Pray that our faithful supporters will be abundantly blessed by God in spite of the global economic crisis and that we can develop promotional materials for the ministry.
